The latest passion project at the abbydid household is ice dying. This is just like tie dying, but instead of using liquid dye, you sprinkle the dye in its powder form onto the fabric and let the ice slowly melt, causing the colors to separate and work their magic. It’s a fun surprise every time!

The Ice Dye kit includes:

-(1) camp bandana, ripe for dying. This is a brand new, exclusive design! Who designed it? Abby did (groan 😂).

-Access to Abby’s fiber reactive dye collection from Dharma Trading Co., including a bunch of the new formulas developed just for ice dying.

-Use of all of the dying paraphernalia; buckets, soda ash, clamps, rubber bands, sinew, pipes, bins, grates, masks, gloves, hangers, etc.

Not included: your white or light colored natural plant-based fabric items! This can be cotton, linen, bamboo, or similar, and it should make up at LEAST 60% of the content in order to absorb the dye properly.
