There is one abbydid workshop that is far more popular than all the rest, and it’s coming to camp! Visible mending is a huge trend for good reason. It’s the perfect way to add zest to your clothes while also making them last. It’s the ultimate fashion statement, making each piece uniquely your own.

In this workshop, Abby will demonstrate all of her tricks, consult with you on your projects, and set you up with everything you need. These methods include; weaving patches with mini looms, darning, sashiko stitching, appliqué patchwork, and embroidering transferred imagery.

The Visible Mending Kit includes:

• 1 mini-loom

• fabric patches in lots of shapes, colors, and patterns

• a variety of threads and yarns

• access to Abby’s transfer library, patterns, templates, notions, and stabilizers.

• handouts to reference for when you won’t have Abby at your beck and call

What do you bring? Any clothing you’re ready to give some extra zest! As long as you can sew into it easily, it can be mended visibly. Leather won’t work well, but sweaters, denim, flannel, and tees will all be great candidates.
