Have you ever wondered how artificial flowers appear so life-like? Join textile artist Abby Langdon as she shows you centuries-old traditions in French and Japanese flower making techniques, which will include hand painting petals with dye, wrapping stems, flocking stamens, and most importantly, using heated irons and molds to obtain the perfect shapes.
This class is the final installment of the CCAC’s Hot Art Sampler, where each month they off a different introductory course for you to discover a new artistic technique using heat.
